What is COVID-19

COVID-19 is a disease caused by a new strain of Corona-virus. 'CO' stands for corona, 'VI' for virus, and 'D' for disease. Formerly, this disease was referred to as '2019 novel corona-virus' or '2019-nCoV'.

The new coronavirus is a respiratory virus which spreads primarily through droplets generated when an infected person coughs or sneezes, or through droplets of saliva or discharge from the nose. To protect yourself, clean your hands frequently with an alcohol-based hand rub or wash them with soap and water.

Coronaviruses are zoonotic, meaning that they are transmitted between animals and people. Detailed investigations found that SARS-CoV was transmitted from civet cats to humans and MERS-CoV from dromedary camels to humans. Several known coronaviruses are circulating in animals that have not yet infected humans.

Prevention for Corona Virus:

To prevent infection and to slow transmission of COVID-19, do the following:

Ø Wash your hands regularly with soap and water, or clean them with alcohol-based hand rub.

Ø Maintain at least 1 metre distance between you and people coughing or sneezing.

Ø Avoid touching your face.

Ø Cover your mouth and nose when coughing or sneezing.

Ø Stay home if you feel unwell.

Ø Refrain from smoking and other activities that weaken the lungs.

Ø Practice physical distancing by avoiding unnecessary travel and staying away from large groups of people.

Difference between Bacteria & Virus.

As it known to all, COVID-19 is kinds of virus newly-appeared. While bacteria and viruses both can cause many common infections. But what are the differences between these two kinds of infectious organisms? Let us know here.

Bacteria are tiny microorganisms that are made up of a single cell. They’re very diverse and can have a large variety of shapes and structural features. Bacteria can live in almost every conceivable environment, including in or on the human body.Only a handful of bacteria cause infections in humans. These bacteria are referred to as pathogenic bacteria.

Viruses are another type of tiny microorganism, although they’re even smaller than bacteria. Like bacteria, they’re very diverse and have a variety of shapes and features. Viruses are parasitic. That means they require living cells or tissue in which to grow.

Viruses can invade the cells of your body, using the components of your cells to grow and multiply. Some viruses even kill host cells as part of their life cycle.

Anti-Bacterial and Anti-Virus in Textile

What is actual meaning of the word “ANTI” related to Bacteria and Virus? ANTIWhen the meaning is 'against' or 'preventing', you need to use anti-, which comes from the Greek word "anti". It's used to form words such as Antibacterial (=active against bacteria) or Antivirus (= a prevention against viral disease).

From above analysis, it is quite different between bacteria and virus, accordingly, anti--virus and anti-bacteria are also two different concepts.

These years, u may discovered a certain number of companies in Textile Industry have come up with an idea to develop an antibacterial yarn & fabric innovations which are announced to be very necessary in prevent/killing bacteria. As compared to our Anti-Bacterial Nylon yarn, the combination of Anti-Bacterial & Anti-Virus yarn gives people more comprehensive protection.

1.Excellent anti-virus effect:

As per our Test Report (Shown Below), the Logarithm of Infectivity titre Value after 24 Hours contacting with the reference specimen (lgTCID50), the final result we achieved is with the Logarithm of Antiviral Activity is 4.20 and Antiviral Activity Rate (%) is 99.99.

Hence, it indicates that the MV is the Logarithm of Antiviral Activity: 3.0 > MV ≥ 2.0, means that the antiviral activity efficiency is small: MV ≥ 3.0, indicates that the antiviral efficiency is FULL

2. Excellent anti-bacterial effect:

3. Long lasting effect even after 80 times washing;

4. Anti-acarid: 81%

5. Anti-UV: 50+
